Job Title: Tooling Engineer (AI & Smart Contract Security)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer with a strong background in AI and blockchain security to join our growing team at Cantina. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating open-source tools like Pyrometer and working with large language models and the OpenAI API to develop innovative AI-powered solutions for smart contract security tooling.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to design, develop, and integrate open-source security tools, with a focus on Pyrometer, into our platform.
  • Leverage your expertise in large language models and the OpenAI API to explore and implement AI-driven solutions for smart contract security auditing.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies and tools to enhance our existing security toolset.
  • Work closely with the security research team to understand their needs and develop custom tooling to improve their workflows.
  • Maintain and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our security tooling infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team, ensuring best practices are followed and the highest level of security is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on tooling development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and smart contract security principles.
  • Experience working with large language models and the OpenAI API.
  • Proficient in Python, Solidity, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with open-source security tools, particularly Pyrometer.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the blockchain security auditing space.
  • Knowledge of formal verification techniques and methodologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, particularly in the areas of AI and blockchain security.
